Alcan Gove maintains a firm commitment to apprentice training and development. We work in conjunction with Group Training Australia to provide motivated and enthusiastic candidates with a passion for their trade.

Alcan Gove has opportunities in an extensive range of disciplines including:

- Clerical
- Engineering
- Electrical/Instrumentation
- Fitter Machinist
- Metal Fabrication
- Diesel Mechanic

Apprenticeships are advertised locally towards the end of the school year in September/October through the Gove branch of Group Training.  We also invite applications external to Gove, although no accommodation is provided with any of these positions.

It is necessary for applicants to have passed their grade 11 Maths and English as well as being able to meet necessary health requirements.  The selection process will include psychometric testing and reference checking as well as interviews with the relevant Alcan Gove area representative.
